If you've never shot steel before, you're in for a treat...
It activates the pleasure center of your brain and releases those "feel good" chemicals.
(My cousin Buford jokingly call it a gun-gasm!)
Immediate Feedback– You can the target move & the clang of steel – you don’t get that with paper targets.
It’s Addicting– The sound of steel will light up the pleasure center of your brain. So it’ll make you want to practice more.
My cousin, Buford, calls it a gun-gasm... Inappropriate, but kind of accurate.
It’s Clean and Reusable – AR500 hardened steel is much harder than stainless steel. Bullets vaporize on contact, without ricochet.
And there’s nothing to clean up, so you can leave your shooting site clean and pristine, just like you found it. Plus, since its reusable, it'll save you money in the long run.
Warning: You should only shoot targets made from hardened AR500 steel.
This special steel is more expensive than regular steel, but it's hardened so that bullets basically vaporize on contact.
Regular steel is too soft and will cause ricochet. So unless you want the realistic feeling of being shot back at, like you were in the marines, only shoot AR500 steel.
The last thing you want to do is wear yourself out hauling a heavy-ass target system out 100+ yards.
Not only that, but some systems require two people to move them. Plus, target systems can often cost you $500 or more.
Alternatively, you can spend an entire weekend building a target stand out of wood, only to have it blown to smithereens by a stray bullet... That's always a disappointment.
To make it even more compact, you can grab some conduit connectors at the hardware store to connect shorter lengths together.
This is for the wingman, the sidekick, the loyal friend.
Targets in The Beginner Kit are Rated for RimFire and Pistols. If you're planning on shooting anything else, consider the Contender or the Champion Kits
This for the man (or woman) with some real hair on their chest…
